In 2014, 2 cousins from opposite sides of New Orleans combined their talents to form $UICIDEBOY$. Many people wonder where the name $UICIDEBOY$ came from and why they chose it. Well, the duo became so fed up with life they that decided if $UICIDEBOY$ didn't take-off then they were going to commit suicide... The cousins both struggled early on in life due to being white kids in a black neighborhood, and veered down different paths including punk rock and DJ/Songwriting. Once the cousins joined forces in 2014 the result became a blend of drugged-out rhymes, glitch-trap bubbling with booming bass and ominous atmospherics. Later on $UICIDEBOY$ signed with G59 Records and released a ten part series which included: Kill Your$elf, $uicide $aga, The $eppuku $aga and Re$urrection. The year 2015 brought along EP's including: Grey Sheep, G.R.E.Y.G.O.D.S., Black $uicide and My Liver Will Handle What My Heart Can't. By 2016 the duo had many international shows and the SXSW Festival under their belts the recordings continue. Their five-track EP produced by Getta peaked at 17 on the Billboard Rap charts.
